Santiment analysts note that large Ethereum wallets those holding over 10,000 ETH now control 75.74% of ETH’s total supply. Ripple’s XRP is seeing similar excitement: wallets holding over 1 million XRP reached a record high of 2,743. The combined volume of XRP these whales hold is also rising, underlining growing institutional and high-net-worth interest.

While the mood is positive, Santiment experts sound a note of caution. The MVRV ratio for Bitcoin has climbed beyond the levels seen just before previous corrections. Additionally, the soaring popularity of meme coins, which surged 17% this week, might signal that market greed is peaking.


 

Yet this very pattern where speculative assets like meme coins start to lead often happens right before the market’s most explosive moves. In other words, the rally may not be over; it could be entering its final, most powerful stage.

For Ethereum, ultra-bullish sentiment suggests a near-term peak could be close. But for bold investors, the next few days or weeks could offer prime opportunities before potential corrections set in.

🔍 What About Bitcoin Dominance?

Bitcoin still commands a dominance of 62.5%, but analyst Matthew Hyland believes the true altcoin rally will kick in once that number drops to around 45%. Right now, the altcoin index from CoinMarketCap sits at 27, reflecting that while traders still lean toward Bitcoin, a shift may be coming.
